Dans mon livre...
Dear followers, for the next three months, I’ll be traveling in France and in the Balkans, and since I don’t have a smart phone and I won’t bring my pc, I’ll be less on Tumblr! But, when I’ll find a computer, I’ll give news and even post some of my pictures!

If you’re interested by receiving a post card, send me your address by message and I’ll try to take some time to send you one!

Cheers! Love!

Mongolia 05 There is a special sense of fit between the rider, the horse and the landscape in Mongolia. As if all three take pleasure in their connections.
This is a panned image at 1/30 sec which has allowed the background to blur, the movement to show in the horses legs but some of the horse to be quite sharp. Choosing a shutter speed for this kind of image is experimental as lens type, speed of movement, angle of movement and distance from the photographer all are factors. Still 1/30 sec is often a good starting point. I will usually use a short burst in the middle of a long pan and will often prefocus.
